Discover the "FRONT" exterior cladding from Loopwood, which allows you to build and renovate in an eco-friendly way. The rhombus slats used are made from old scaffolding boards and are processed with the utmost care: Their surface is planed on three sides, with the visible side brushed to emphasize the natural beauty and texture of the old wood. Thanks to many years of weathering of the scaffolding boards, the visible side of our strips is naturally greyed and no longer needs to be coated or pre-greyed. In addition, the tension has been released from the wood, making the strips form-stable.
The slats are available in a thickness of 26 mm, a width of 68 mm and in lengths of 2.20 m, 2.80 m, 4 m, 4.50 m and 5 m. The 4 m, 4.50 m and 5 m lengths are scarfed. As an option, we also offer mitred strips in lengths of 2.20 m and 2.80 m, which you can use to create harmonious and precise corners and ends. A radius of 1.5 mm at the edges gives the slats a fine, rounded finish.
With Loopwood rhombus strips, facades can be designed flexibly, either with full-surface cladding or with accentuated areas. The battens are prefabricated with an incline angle of 15 degrees, which not only ensures an aesthetic play of shadows on the façade, but also offers ideal water drainage properties.
All Loopwood rhombus strips are made from used scaffolding boards, which we carefully recycle and bring back to life. This means that every strip and every cladding is unique, telling its own story and creating façades with character. Loopwood's exterior façades made from old scaffolding boards show that recycled materials not only protect the environment, but can also offer aesthetically pleasing and sustainable solutions for modern architecture.
