The Envola Window HVAC indoor air units offer the three functions of heating, cooling/dehumidification and ventilation in one compact unit, which is usually installed in the window lintel. The direct decentralized supply of fresh air via the façade eliminates the need for a pipe network and leaves the ceiling free. The innovative control system uses so-called "Room Data" units to monitor and control the room temperature, CO2 content and humidity.
The exhaust air is used for heat recovery in the energy storage unit and discharged there centrally. The time-consuming heat recovery by crossing two air flows is no longer necessary. This saves up to 80% on the use of resources by eliminating piping, suspended ceilings, planning work and installation time.
Thanks to intelligent flow control and targeted material selection, the unit design enables operation with less than 30 dB(A). This makes the room air unit in the Envola Window HVAC range not only very compact, but also very quiet. The sensors allow the optimum room air quality (CO2 value 800ppm) and desired temperature to be ensured individually for each room/zone.
The combination of heating, cooling and ventilation functions in a single compact device makes installation on site very easy. The Envola Window HVAC room air unit can be installed in prefabricated elements thanks to cooperation with major shutter manufacturers. Thanks to plug-and-play, the device is simply inserted into the shaft after the shell has been built: perfect for serial construction, modular construction and prefabrication. The effort involved compared to previous installation practice is reduced enormously and leads to savings in material and construction time.
